Working With Faeries
How do we work with these spirits of Nature? Here are some helpful suggestions!
1. Don't get discouraged if you haven't seen a faery being with your physical eyes. Very often you see them with your mind's eye (or third eye). Working deeply with Nature is subtle and often can't be understood in physical terms. You are tapping into energies that are not human and that are not physical. Allow yourself practice and exploration to adjust how you perceive things. Fine tune your senses to perceive the subtle energy of faeries.
2. To connect with the Faery Realm try meditating, connecting through artwork, or simply just sitting in Nature and asking to connect with the Faeries! Then still yourself and bring yourself to a point of openness to possibility. Above all - Play! This is fun and joyous, and so is the essence of the Faery Realm!
3. Don't get caught up in the form the faery may take. They are not physical beings and may only take on a form in order to make you comfortable or understand. In my experience, a plant faery may simply look like the plant and not a humanoid form at all! And in visions, I notice they change their form. Trust your intuition instead of trying to label it with a name or form or role. Connect from your own essence to the essence of that nature spirit.
